Second sinew backed bow

Well, if all goes to plan!

57” wych Elm again, I think the design is pretty self evident. I’ve taken the dimensions of the working limbs of the last one and added a stiff handle and some leavers and I reckon I’ll get a few more inches draw out of it.

These pictures are before and after the second bout of straightening.

Im feeling confident, but hopefully not too confident because then I’m likely to make mistakes!

This is at a low brace, I’ll leave it here before I get the sinew on. Needs a handle gluing on too
