Tilapia Hunt
mullet:
Nice catch. Where do you live that you have tilapia? I live in Lakeland ,Fl. The first place they were introduced in the U.S., about 1967,68. Unfortunelately they brought the wrong ones, Vegans. Not the big #40 plus sport fish in Egypt. We get to shoot with a bow, spear, gig, castnet and snatch with treble hooks for them here. But it's fun to shoot them with a bow along with Gar.

PeteC, I think even now you can fix it by hitting the "modify" button on the original post and then follow El Destructo's instructions.

Thanks for the help with the picture posting y'all.
Eddie,we live in east Texas, and have several power plant lakes around the area that have either common tilapia or blue tilapia,or both. These are blues in the photo. Thanks, and God Bless
Hillbilly:
Nice haul. We have a small lake here that has some tilapia, it's a power plant cooling lake and the water stays bathwater temp all year. No bowfishing allowed there, though. A lot of people catch 'em on breadballs.
