Latest creation ( may be my new hunting partner )
« on: June 23, 2008, 07:34:09 pm »
Well guys I have been laid off so I have had plenty of time. I started this bow right before the Hickory shoot. I finished it about a week ago and have been shooting it almost constantly. I love it ;D .
It is 65" nock to nock , 50# @ 28" . Has several knots . More than I have had to deal with . Osage from Texas with a hemp wrapped handle.
ENJOY I know I will  ;)

Nice bow there buddy.  The tiller looks pretty darn good.  You better watch out for the chiggers if your going to wear a skirt like that.  :D Justin

No that is not a Chris Cade man dress. That is an Official MTB made kilt. Custom made for me.
Here are a few more pics

Thats a nice tiller on that bow considering working around all those knots. I wouldn't dare tease you about your kilt, you look pretty big and I might end up seeing you in person one day!!  Seriously I really like the kilts. Steve

I can take the jokes about the kilt. I am seure in my manhood.8)  Pat I made the sporran. The kilt was made by my mom. I 'm sure there will a joke or two about that also.
Thanks for the comments about the bow too.  ;D

I got a little story about kilts, several years ago I thought about marketing them. I wanted to talk several construction companies into having their carpenters wear them, and was even looking for a law firm willing to have their lawyers wear the formal versions. I felt pretty confident if they started showing up around town they might catch on. Steve
