Thanks guys.  Truth be known I broke the preform early on, but since it was the last big piece I had handy, I superglued it back together.  :-X  I actually did most of the reduction and shaping after the repair and the glue joint held up and knapped just fine, (and I didn't break it again, so I was pretty happy about that).  I was able to "hide" the glue joint in the handle.   ;D

Ahh, now the truth comes out ;D. You ain't sposed ta tell anyone about that Mike :-X ;D. Naw - It's amazing what a little glue will do for ya, I had to do that once but we'll keep that our little secret ::).
