Thanks guys, I'm going to try and get it hafted to something, just not sure what at this point.  I've got to get something done with the deer legs in my Man-Cave Ice Box.  The wife said she's buying 4th of July supplies and the deer legs and goose wings "gotta go".  It's time to get serious about processing some sinew. ;)

Looks good Mike! I've come across some rock that resembles that but it was Pederanales. A peice of osage would look good on that I'm sure :).

Thanks Paul.  I'm not sure what it is.  I guess it could be Pederanales.  My daughters got the rock at Missouri Trading Company.  It's really good stuff.  Unfortunately the picture makes it look like Johnstone, but its a lot waxier and soooooo  much better to work.

That could possibly be novaculite if it came from Mtc, she deals with a lot of that stuff - I like working it.
