Rhyolite Point
Woodland Roamer:
I finally got a chance to knap a little for the first time this summer and here is a little Woodland triangle point from a flake of rhyolite. It's 1 inch wide and 1 1/2 inches long and turned out really sharp. I'm going to haft it to a piece of cane and try to stick it thru a deer this fall.

Hillbilly:
Yeah, man-good looking point. Looks like a deer-getter.
Otoe Bow:
I like it. Great job. Gett'r on some cane and get it bloody.
Mike
Woodland Roamer:
Thanks guys, I hope I can make a few more to match it.
Alan
cowboy:
Looks good man! That'll stick a deer for sure :). Check the laws in your state concerning barbs on a hunting point, anything angled back more than ninety degrees off the side or base is considered a barb.
