Feldspar

Anyone ever try to knap this material?  Apparently there is a very large deposit of high quality Feldspar near where I am.  It was mined many years ago and there is still a road leading to the mine

Googled feldspar and the fracure pattern is conchoidal so it may knap, try it and see :)
