new heads

I didn't make these, but I thought I'd share them anyway. The top 6 are red obsidian, the bottom 5 are black, and the 2 off to the bottom right are chert. All knapped by a friend of my Father's. He's a retired fellow who spends the winters in Arizona. Most are 2-2.5" long, and 1" wide, with weights from 70-135 grains. Should make some awesome arrows. I hope to fling some of these at deer this fall.

He is a friend of my Father's, but they weren't free! He charges $10/inch.
Question for everyone... what sort of a backstop can you shoot these into, without damaging them?

Adam, I have used my regular target that i shoot broadheads into and it hasn't damaged them yet  ::)
