Nice Weather

This was the first cool day we've had since last year. So I took advantage of it and played some. After reading Billy's article I thought I'd put together a few arrows with "bird" points and try shooting a hog when I get back down to the private property I get to hunt. I'd like to see how they penetrate that shield on a hog. I made these little points out of flakes that I save when I'm percussion flaking. They do not have pressure flaking all the way across, just enough to make the edges staight and deadly. I've found quite a few artifacts like this, so I know the natives did this also. Two are made from Coral, one from Kade County and the black one from Danish Flint. I also banged out that little knife blade.
