Recurve, I use to raise and train treeing walker hounds and thou it is kind of apples compared to oranges Id say catch him a squirrel and let him work the cage abit pull it up a tree so he can see where they go ,then cut the squirrel loose and shot it out for him,might work,just my 2 cents,Dave.
