Leapingbare's rock.
mullet:
Paul, I took one and sliced about 6 pieces out of it and put it in my toaster for 2hrs at 200dgs. Then ramped it up to 450dgs for 3 more hours then turned it back down to 200dgs and went to bed. Turned it off in the morning. Got home from work this afternoon and ran some test flakes ,, and ,,it is nice. ;D
leapingbare:
Eddie, i got a large crate of HC out at the bow range. if i can get one of the guys to send you a flat rate box of it, could you cut me some slabs and mail erm to me.. and you can just keep the rest of it.
mullet:
Sure can, I was suprised how easy some of it cut. There was some hard places but it still wasn't bad. It seems the more color the easier it was. Hope I didn't cheat, but I sure wanted to get the most out of that pretty rock.
leapingbare:
yea when you abrade it the color will come off onto the abrader like chalk on the sidewalk.
mullet:
It does the same thing when sawing it, the water changes different colors. It would probally make a good stain, or paint mixed with hide glue.
