good weekend
« on: November 16, 2008, 09:58:20 pm »
The rock in cooker cooled off sat.so after fishing I knocked a couple out.Only broke two out of six.

Then I took a chip of pine head off that large one and did a little simson stash.

Now all that's left is pulling the mullet out of the smoker and a cold beer

Getting to be lots of you Floridians on here :). Pin head, Pine head, doesn't make any difference to me - I've never heard of either. I've got a chunk from Mullet, I need to get spalled and cooked..

Yep, Paul, that chunk is Pin head. Nice Simpson Stash. And that smoked mullet and beer sounds real good. :P

Very nice, indeed!  Oooh just add a chunk of sharp cheddar, and some crackers, and that smoked mullet, and beer, is a meal in itself.  I wouldn't know one piece of coral from another either.  Heck Eddie gave a bucket of stone, to practice with, and there is a chunk of something in there, and it is harder than the knobs of Hell !

I was at Claude's this morning when I should have been working. He gave me 7 nice hunting points and was pit firing some pottery. I'll get some pictures up. I'm going over there Saturday also when Stickbender gets here. Roger, listening to Claude talk about ya' Man!, you are on the upper tier when it comes to knapping Coral.
