Title: Suggestions on dimensions for yellowheart board bow
Post by: ccase39 on February 16, 2019, 05:26:20 pm
I have a piece of yellowheart board 72” by 1 1/2” by 3/8. I have never worked with yellowheart other than in a riser. I have a bunch of bamboo for backing and I also have some ipe. Do any of you guys have some dimensions i can follow? I have read that it has similar properties to ipe. Any help would be appreciated. Can I get a hunting weight bow out of a piece that size? I will keep you guys updated as I build.
