Hey I'm new i live in the Poconos PA and i would like to know where and how to find flint or chert for arrow making.
So if there's a place in or near the Poconos to find this stuff please let me know soon.

Hey DT, I live in the Erie area an the only stone that I know of in northern Pa. I s onadaga. I also bought some Normanskill from a guy who lived in Ny in the Hudson Valley area. I don't know how much knapping skills you have but I don't recommened either of these for begineers. If you are a newbie try bottle bottoms or tv screen or even old window glass to get started, also obsidian an dacite are fairly resonable priced an good for beginners to start with.
