Title: whats the best sealant to use with fletchn tape?

what do you guys who use tape seal your arrows with.the couple iv used don't hold good enough.the tape pulls the sealant off then I got a floppy feather!. I prep the shaft well, using 200 grit then cleaning with mineral spirit's. any tips will be appreciated.

I don't use it. I watched the guys tape come loose when we hunted in very hot weather in July. Super Glue for me.

I use fletch tape but usually wrap the fletching fore and aft. I seal arrows with either Tru-Oil or water base poly for dipping.

I seal by dipping water base Min Wax Poly, use the tape, and then use some belt and suspenders duco fore and aft on each vane to keep them from lifting.

yea, Mikki. I use a fletching jig. When we were hunting two of the guys had their fletching start to come off because of the hot temperature.
