Title: Elm Hall Stick bow shoot.
Post by: Pappy on June 03, 2019, 01:53:53 pm: Next shoot for me is Elm Hall , August 2/3/4 20219. In Elm Hall MI. If you have never been you should try and make it. It is a can't miss for me.
Great people great food and great course on a beautiful piece of ground. Hope to see yall there.

Post by: JEB on June 05, 2019, 05:03:04 am: This was the last shoot my wife (God Bless Her) and I went to before she moved on. I wasn't going to any gatherings this year but two of my buddies talked me into Marshall and now my grandkids are bugging me about Elm Hall.

It is a great shoot run by really hard workers who try and please everyone who attends. The Saturday night food ain't bad either. If you are lucky you will run into the likes of Pappy, Pearl Drums, Matt and Heather Wirwicki and BJ and a hundred other fine folks..

Carol is tagging along again so, like last year, we will setup at motel in Alma and commute over to Elm Hall.
Nice eatery/brew place in Alma if you're interested in doing that maybe Fri eve.

I'm like a kid at Christmas. This Kentucky boy cant wait to get to Michagan to do some shoot'n and BS's around the camp fire.

Mike we went from cold and rainy to hot and steamy. Right now is perfect. Low 70's with a nice breeze off the lake. Not sure it the same in land and no way of knowing for Elm Hall. Hopefully it's good though.

Unfortunately I haven't so much as drawn a bow Since May 25th :). Might be a tad rusty!

You might want to stick with the cedar anyway....they will float in the river.

The food Friday and Saturday night is wonderful. The course is so much fun. We missed BJ and Clint and Paul Newton but were glad to see so many of our friends. Look forward to camping in the Pearly Compound again next year.
