Sorry for photo quality but sinew backed Osage contact recurve. Its 55@23 draw. Flax fibers are used in place of the horse hair for the tuft on top limb. Only has a single layer of sinew the full bow with another layer layed from the handle feathered out to mid limb. Shoots fast and is scary accurate with the right arrows.

Pretty darn good. I love these Indian short bows.
How wide and long is it?

1.25 inches through its length. Its 44inches overall length.

Nice bow, you really got that handle working. Maybe I should make mine work a little harder

Yea it was pretty nerve racking but I needed it to work. That draw length is pretty much where the bow stacks out

Interesting little bow. Id really like to see a unbraced profile to see just how much that sinew is working.
