ok I apologise for not having more pic,, this skin just looked so nice I wanted to share,, it was a really big timber rattler, I cut it down the middle,, thats why the pattern doesnt show,,I think the reason the color looks so vibrant is I used an art product that I use for painting to put the skin on,, its liquitex heavy gel medium,, if you put it over paint it will enhance the color,, and its gloss, I have used it to glue rawhide on bows as well,, , anyway,, the bow has a really snakey profile front and side,, so far it is not to full draw and looks really funky,,,it is 48 inches long...its about 50# @ 17,,, that would make it about 65@23,, I cant draw it, Im a bit out of shape,,
I will take the weight down a bit and go to 24 inches,, it has one layer of sinew, it is not reflexed,, I am giving it as a gift and was afraid someone might try to string it backwards if I reflexed it,, when I get the weight down I will post more pics,, thanks for looking,, :)

This is absolutely stunning. That finish really does seem to pop the skins

Brad is that burl inlaid or on top? If on top is it in epoxy and a flat surface?
Sorry don’t mean to get sidetracked, but I’m guessing you were expecting to get some comments on the table.

yes its inlaid,, and has epoxy finish..or pour really,, its flat,,
it has a copper outline around the inlay,, I thougt it set the bow off nicely ;D
