Please let me know how I can record the pictures here. THX.
This bow is made by copy and inspiration of horn bow from picture of Carl Bodmer / Dog Warrior.
The bow is made from osage orange 42.12 inch long, 48,5 Lbs a draw 22,4inch.
The bow has sinew backing from buffalo, sinew string. All paitning on is coil and clay collors.
On the libs are original old flag from 18th century and quillwork and on the top limb is horse hair.
The bow is very speedy and smooth draw is amazing. String is also made from sinew.
Arrows are made from white willow and long 24inches. The feathers are 7,48inch long.
the feathers are from eagle ( the feathers are legal in my country from falconer, who gave it to me this purpouse. The feathers were from wings, which the bird take them out and by his beak damage them. So I used the rest of feather - enough for this. The arrow head is war type iron, also made according to original.
