Been tinkering with this one the last few days after work. Started out with a chunk that I figured would be junk but alas - had some flint inside :). Got this stuff off a jobsite West of Austin, looks somewhat like Georgetown but not quite - anyway worked good. Started out with one like the blade is laying on with lot's of white chalky cortex.

I have some rock like that. Look's like some Edwards chert. That is one pretty, sweet, looking Dove-Tail.

Adjectives fail me. That is some point. :o
I got to ask, did you work it raw? Not that it really matters, you seem to be able to work everything raw.

Thanks ya'll ;D. I dunno Eddie - it may be edwards, I know I like it :).
Mike: I worked this one raw but trust me it's not that typical stuff I work from down around San Antonio. This is hill country stuff and works more like real flint. Thanks.
