First off I would like to say that I love making bamboo arrows in general, the stuff is great.
I cannot vouch for how the bamboo supply company stuff is when it comes to making arrows yet(more to come), but I will give you my first impressions.
Bamboo supply co good stuff
-Plentiful
-good avg size
-Less sorting
(so far...)
Bamboo supy co bad stuff (so far)
-Relativly less flexible
-Relativly less durable
That is all i can give you for now.

Bamboo supplied from Mullet so far has been excellent. :)
THANKS buddy for bringing that load to Twin Oaks.

Update, the bamboo supply company stuff bends like perfect @ the right temp, that doesn't mean its easy though...
Also having such large amounts is pretty imposing.

Your welcome, John. YB2, what size did you get? The best size I've found is 8-10mm by 4'. And if you tell the guy you want them for arrows he will pick through them or let you if you are there and find the best bundle. I got lucky the time before, a bundle had split so he gave it to me for free. :)

YB2, I prefer Tonkin from a supplier than home stores. Price is better along with the quantity ($40/per 500). I've sorted and spined about half of my last order three years ago. They were 3/8ths @ 4 ft, like Mullet said.
