This is only an idea at the moment.....I'm contemplating putting together a booklet with detailed instructions on how to construct a 'simple' hornbow. All the steps from gathering suitable materials right through to the finshed bow. Plenty of photos and diagrams. I will also give details of which modern glues/materials can be substituted for the traditional ones if people don't want to go the whole hog with a fully traditional bow.
In a nutshell it will be a practical guide to get a great shooting hornbow into your hands.
I'd be interested in peoples thoughts. Thanks.

When can I get it and how much? This is a brilliant idea and I, for one, support it.

What he said! (lol)
You thinking print or e-book?

Sounds good :)

Any addition to the literature on the subject is a good thing, and I'm sure you'd do a good practical job.

Thanks for the show of interested. I'm afraid it won't be for a while, at least as long as it takes to make a couple of bows anyway! I plan to make a couple of new bows to provide the photos along the way.
I will be going down the printed book route more than likely.
So whilst I wouldn't say hold your breath for the release date you can watch this space and I will give plenty of notice for when it will be ready.
Thanks.
