Here is a 58 that I just finished with a Colerain gain twist barrel, going to New Mexico in October on a mule deer hunt.

Nice smoke pole. I really like the Virginia Style of rifles, smooth rifles and fowlers. My Virginia Fowler is .54 cal.
I know, no pictures-didn't happen, but I don't have a camera.
Good Luck in the Land of Enchantment. That is some nice country you're heading to.

Real nice rifle! A good thing about the .58s, when you shoot 'em, they stays shot! :-M. It makes a big impact. Have a good hunt, the Julie's are big deer!

Good luck on the hunt and to me a simple rifle is a beautiful rifle. It's one I'd use hard and not worry about scratches, those are memories.

I have the Mark Silver Rifle in 58 cal....best rifle I own. Once you go big bore you never go back.

One is on my Wish List.

I think your right, I shot 54's for ever and since I have built this 58 and a 62 as well, I think I'm hooked on the big guns! I really like the feel of the 62 when you shoot and this 58 is right there with it.
