Title: Prairie rattlesnakeskin backed osage.
Post by: swamp yeti on January 15, 2011, 04:28:33 pm
Here is another osage flatbow, backed with prairie rattlesnakeskins and wenge tip overlays. After the bow was layed out it was put on a caul and 3 inches of reflex was put on it.When I was tillering the bow I noticed it had propeller twist in the limbs adding some character. After shooting it a lot it lost the reflex but hardly any set.The bow is 66 inches tip to tip,a inch and 3 eights wide down to a half a inch at the tips. The handle is a inch a a eighth wide and the same thick. The bow is 50#@ 26"
