Title: Cool Clovis
Post by: leapingbare on October 14, 2009, 09:30:14 pm
Found this hiding in one of those blocks of concrete that Cracker brought to the classic.
I really like this one. Thin, sharp , clean , good flutes , and cool colors and patterns. Who knew that was hiding in there, I'm really glad i found it in there, think its my new favorite point.

Yea all the layers of concrete in there makes it tough to get a piece of the good rock out.
I've been knapping out allot of Clovis points lately.. I'm wanting to fill a shadow box with all Clovis points from all sorts of materail.

That would be one awesome looking point even without the flutes. But to be putting in the flutes the old fashion way... whack.... that is impressive. Great looking point!
