Title: Arrow Blank Slabs FOR TRADE!!
Post by: Bkingston216 on November 30, 2015, 03:50:34 pm
Hi everyone! This original post is to test the waters to see if anyone is interested.
I acquired a large log of Honey Locust recently to be turned into several + bows.
The fool cutting to wood (tree trimming service) managed to mess up on every turn.
He ended up cutting the log in half, ruining my plans to make any bows.
SO!! Now I have 10 ~36in straight/relatively straight grained slabs of honey locust.
Their weights range from 20lbs-60lbs. I myself don't have equipment to make arrows out of them.
But I salvaged the log and had the log cut in such a way that the slabs could produce good arrows.
I just got done hauling those bastards up my stairs, so pictures will be coming soon, but too tired to do yet.

Please let me know if you're even remotely interested.

Two 36" spliced billets will make a 68" stave.
