Title: Sinewing question?
Post by: maitus on April 06, 2019, 07:51:02 am
Most of bows i have made, are sinew backed. Now i want to sinew elm bow and elm bow must be well heat-treated. As much there is no chance to heat treat finished bow with sinew backing, i must first finish the bow and then to sinew back it. I know, its embarrassing, but i discovered that i have no idea how much extra draw weight sinew would give :D...
If somebody knows, then please let me know :D.. Let talk about combed sinew, then the sinew thickness is nearly the same.
