Wham-O, I thought they made frisbees and such?! ;D
That's very cool.
-
I got one of those some where at home.
-
have you ever used it? how does it shoot
-
I found a similar prod(aluminum) at a flea market many years ago and still have it.
-
Remarks like those already posted are what sets this place apart from other archery sites. Most places would have people burning up the keys to slam those things. Yet here...you get "that's cool" and "I have one of those" 8)
Yep, good people around here.
BTW, my daddy had one about like that one years ago. I thought it was cool then...and still do. ;D

I have one I bought at a yard sell and I have the arrow"Bolts" will post a pick when I get home.
-
would love to see it and the bolts
-

At one time I put a sight on it and it was very accurate. It also had a place on the side to put string for shootin fish.
-
I had one like that, too, but it was a kit made in High School Shop class with a steel prod.
-
Here is a wham-o

Like Eddie, I had one in shop class, but it had the aluminum prod. It finally broke. I made a really nice stock for it, and the shop teacher was impressed. So was someone else, I came back to finish it, and it was gone. So I had to make another one, but not as nice. I wasn't all that impressed with speed of the arrows though. I shot regular arrows out of it, so that could be a reason for that.
Aluminum just wasn't a great idea for a bow. it was some sort of alloy or something. That was in 66 or 67, when no one went into fanatical panic mode, and had everyone in counseling, and psych treatment, at the sight of a kid walking to the bus with a crossbow. ;) Back before Dr. Spock told parents not to spank their children.
