I have the opportunity to get a free leyland cypress and was wondering of it will make some decent arrows?

I have a couple that I never finished cause I went with hickory but they seem stronger than cedar shafts

I have made lots they make a nice light arrow but break easier than say doug fir or hemlock.  Having said that I wont make any more from that species of wood.
