Title: My addition to the list of Christmas bows
Post by: rps3 on December 23, 2014, 07:14:35 pm
67" osage, 50# at 29". It is going to a young man who has a much longer draw that I anticipated with the first recurve I gave him. It was hickory and he pulled them right out. This one should hold.

Wow, nice looking static.  Really like those tight bends.  What's the radius of the bends if you don't mind me ask'n.

Awesome bow, simple and elegant.  I like the antler tips.  He'd have to work hard to pull out those curves

Perfect tiller is the best critique I could hope for. Thank you. I have been using antler for my overlays lately and think it looks and works better than wood. danzn bar, I don't have anything to measure the angle with here, at least that I know of. I just eyeballed my cut on the form.
