Post by: Tower on July 01, 2013, 10:43:40 pm
I received a box from Paul( cowboy) last week. I believe it is from the San Angelo area. Folks this is some great stone!! I may have to try & get more outta him. The first 3 are knapper from his stone, the other two are local. Think I'm going to put feathers on their butts & use them this fall. I hope y'all enjoy. Sorry to all them Abo guys looking, their all copper made.  Tower

Man Tower those are killer see-thru points!

My wife just came back from college station and boxed up about 40 lbs of area rock. Hope I get some great points out of them.

Man Don, you jumped right on them and they turned out great! Figured you'd like those rocks. I was able to sit down and break everything yesterday. Need to knock the rust off  :(.
I hear there's a box waiting on me at home haven't laid eyes on it yet.

what are the types of rock and where can I get a few flakes or slabs?

Paul (cowboy) sent me a flat rate box with some good flakes & nodules in it. You might pm Paul for some of this stone. As for a sawn slab, he may be able to help you with that also.  It is some good stone!!
