Title: Freak Robin Hood Shot
Post by: White Arrow 2 on February 19, 2009, 11:35:18 pm
Wish I had intended to do this but truth is it was an accident. Had to replace the nock. Distance 6 yards.

Even a blind hog gets an acorn once in a while!  Fun ain't it? ;D
If you use wood arrows, it's more fun! Especially with self nocks.

It's always fun... at first! When a tip breaks, or a feather needs replaced- no big deal, either you can fix it or given to a friend. But when you breaka selfnock off, it's a complete redo :P. If only people were right about primitive gear being inaccurate. Would save us alot of trouble!

Excellent shooting!

I have done that once, but I feel like it only really counts as  a Robbin Hood shot if the first arrow was in the center of the target. Mine was dumb luck and destroyed a self nocked arrow. The sinue wraps on the nock held the two arrows together.       Kenneth
