yes I said HLB (hillbilly long bow) ;D 55 inches ntn. 55lbs@28". It never ceases to amaze me how little Osage it takes to make a bow. I used a "D" cross section on this bow. First time doing that with Osage and I must say that it really works well. This bow is well under an inch wide. I used a penny in the pic for reference.

Tiller is sweet. One of the pics looks like there are dark spots. Did you heat treat it, or those the knots.?

This was a piece that I pulled from the burnpile at OJAM. It was twisted something fierce, hence the dark spots. There were some knots as well. Thanks guys.

Thanks for the comments guys. I showed this to a guy and he said "Nice kids bow" and I said I wouldn't wanna mess with the kid that can pull this thing!!

HAHAHA nice... I have had a similar reaction with one of my shorties.. Love the look on peoples faces when they pull it slightly..

Great little bow! That one would be easy to carry during a long day hunting.
