This bamboo backed yellow heart blew at full draw...any guess as to where the failure was?

It looks like a short flat spot there to me but when I zoom in I don't see it. Waiting for the answer and post mortem pictures though.
-
Bottom limb. It looks shorter and stiffer.
-
I think that sheet is messing with people eyes....I see it also,ha!will post the answer tomorrow with some pics...gn.

bottom limb close to handle
-
Top midlimb !
-
I honestly can't see any point in the bend that looks worse than any others I'm gonna throw a curve ball and say it was something strange, like the handle or the tips.
-
unless it's obvious they never break where you expect. In this case I would guess for the handle area...
-

It should be :)
-
8 or so inches up from the handle.
Of course barring any delams or dodge spots in the pau am!
I've had quite a variety of results with it as a belly. Some has been awesome but some takes far too much set for my liking. I've always backed them with either boo or hickory and have thought before that maple/ash/elm would be better suited to it.
-
Do you have a unbraced profile? If this is a full draw picture. Although tiller is not perfect it doesn’t seem stressed enough to break. Especially being backed with bamboo. Did it fail in tension or comprehension? Was it something else, like a delam?
Assuming a straight, flat unbraced profile and no other problems. I’m going with center of handle or lower limb right below bottom of sheet.

It broke right in the middle of my grip.
Area of highest stress I guess!0!

Oh yeah, I see it now. When I make that style of bow, I make the handle just barely bend.
