Here's a knife I put together for turkey call maker Alan Sentel. I'm trading for one of his three piece Trumpet calls. Claude VanOrder made the blade in about 15 minutes, amazing.

Thanks Mike. It is 9 1/2" overall, Coral blade. The handle is Bird's Eye Maple, Cholla cactus, moose antler and Bison horn. Wrapped with Elk sinew. Oh, got a turkey, last Saturday and two hogs.

Dang dude, that ere ar a nice un! 8) Claude does make it look easy. ;) Nice handle work. Uh......so whar is his scalbard? (sheath) ;D Very nice indeed. So did you show Saw Filer your turkey, and hogs? He should be chomping at the bit! :D

Nice job on the handle.
Man I'd like to meet Claude VanOrder. Eddie my kids live in south G.A by Waycross. about 1hr west of Jacksonville.
I'll have to plan a trip next time i am down that way.. could maybe dig some Coral too.

Sounds like a plan, Jesse. I live about 4 hours south. I know where to get Coral out of the river. Easier than digging.

Everything about that knife makes me want to pack it around and want to use it! ;D Great looking blade material, flaking, and all the elements of the handle - just awesome! Joe H
