Title: knife
Post by: mullet on March 17, 2009, 07:22:35 pm
Here's a knife I put together for turkey call maker Alan Sentel. I'm trading for one of his three piece Trumpet calls. Claude VanOrder made the blade in about 15 minutes, amazing.

Thanks Mike. It is 9 1/2" overall, Coral blade. The handle is Bird's Eye Maple, Cholla cactus, moose antler and Bison horn. Wrapped with Elk sinew. Oh, got a turkey, last Saturday and two hogs.

Sounds like a plan, Jesse. I live about 4 hours south. I know where to get Coral out of the river. Easier than digging.

Everything about that knife makes me want to pack it around and want to use it! ;D  Great looking blade material, flaking, and all the elements of the handle - just awesome!  Joe H
