I have a mint older delta bandsaw 93 1/2" but ruined my blades cutting antler and tossed out my blades and need to order more. Can anyone recommend some blades (teeth per inch). My main stash of wood includes whitewoods hhb, maple, hickory so just looking for efficiency.
Many thanks.

I order mine on line from McMaster-Carr. I use the inexpensive 1/2" X 4 tooth blade. I also order my sanding belts and a few other things from them

yes I like the 4 tooth 1/2 inch also

I use a 3 tooth because that's what I've got. I do find that it grabs when I try to cross cut something round. I will probably go to 4 or mavbe 5 when I break the two I've got.

Yep, I've ran a ton of wood through mine and it's still cutting away. I have it on an old delta Rockwell 14in 93 1/2in bandsaw. It's had 3 stave hung up in it and probably need replaced but it still cuts good, even though it wobbles a bit.

I have had the best luck with the higher price blades. Mine is an 81 inch blade. Bosch break pretty quick. I just bought a pack of 4 from Craftsman, we'll see how they work. The longest lasting so far has been an Olsen.

I just bought a couple of 93-1/2" x 1/2" 4 teeth per inch blades at Lowes last weekend for $10 each. I have had good luck with these.

Once my blades start clicking a bit like there's a crack in it it's days are numbered. The wobble gets worse and then bang!!!!!

I use a 14" 1 HP Grizzly and the only blades I've used so far were the blade supplied with it and Timberwolf. 3, 4, and 10 TPI. I suppose if I used it more I would likely try some cheaper blades.
