-
Where did you get that leg with the spur? Nice knife.
-
very cool
-
Dana, that's just too cool. ;D Nice blade, too. Do you have to do anything to the leg other than dry it out? I've got a couple in the freezer that I was thinking of making into knife handles like that.
-
Very Cool knife Dana. If you pulled that on someone, that would just freak their $%^# out.
-
Steve, just put the toes where you want them and hold them in place with rubber bands or twist ties. set it in the sun and let it dry. That's it.
-
You need to carve the Thanksgiving Turkey with that knife.
-
shoot that turned out pretty in a ugly kinda way. you're getting better I see :o nice work. make a nice bill opener.
-
I would expect nothing less from someone with an attitude like yours :P ;D
-
Thanks guys :) I wanted to do the blade in a turkey tail style but the glass had some bubbles in it so I ended up with a dagger.
Eddie a friend gave me a whole turkey he had just shot so I got the wings, tail, feet and best of all the meat ;D He is the local sheriff and just
retired so I brought the knife over to him last night and he was tickled pink with it ;D
Steve like eddie said just position the toes however ya want and let it dry but ya gotta watch out for dogs, cats, birds and fastidious wives :D
What attitude Shannon ??? ::) :P ;) :D

Nice blade Dana.
Steve, you actually should inject it with formaldehyde or something of that nature. You can dry them, but that doesn't stop the bugs from getting in and eating them. Keeping them inside will decrease the chances of getting bugs, but it is no guarantee. Justin

Nice job DanaM! That is freakin cool !! I've never seen one made from a turkey leg.
-
Dana have you ever considered professional help? Really it's just toooo cool.Ron

Dana, very nice blade! That is a cool idea. Can I borrow that next Turkey day when I go to the in-laws and carve the bird? >:D

Pappy
-
Good deal :).
-
Kinda creepy and yet beautiful :-\ . Excellent craftsmanship. If you still have the head and neck intact, you can try making the sheath out of that. If you shape a foot like that to your bow limb, would it make a functional stalker quiver?
-
Looks sort of like some Voodoo paraphernalia... ;D ;D ;D
