An interesting read. Pike  and carp glues .Cheaper alternatives for sturgeon glue isinglass. Not really sure how much crossover there would be for bowmaking, as the main focus was on painting restoration. Could it be a viable alternative for horn/sinew bowmakers? Certainly possible, likely probable but you would need to experiment specifically with bows, to convince someone who uses sturgeon as a gold standard for animal glues.
