Was asked to make a knife with rainbow obsid and Osage burl. I don't have it all pinned yet, but I figured it was close enough to post. Here's a look at the colors in the blade before it was final shaped.

And what the overall piece will look like when it is put together. The base is santos mahogany.

Look at that color!! even the rock in the back is glowing. Awesome knife, and excellent work on handle.
-
Very nice work!
-
I like that!! That character osage is fantastic.
-
That is really beautiful Scott, nice work
-
I agree Fred. The mahogany is soft, but also has a very clean look. I think the 2 woods make this set stand out nicely!
-
Thanks Nate, Clint, and Aaron.
-
That's awesome. Love the handle design and that point is great!
-
Beautiful work...that osage will darken over time and add more patina to the overall look.
-
That is a nice piece of rock and a heck of a display when you get it finished, Scott.
-
here it is finished.

The knife is exceptional but you could look a long time to find that antler. Is that elk?
-
Very, very nice!
-
Oh man that is a real beauty.
-
Thanks guys.
Chief, it is a whitetail shed antler.
-
Nice. That osage has some sweet character and the blade has a mean shape to it, top shelf combo Scott.
-
Fantastic! Great craftsmanship. John
