Title: Rainbow -n- Osage

Was asked to make a knife with rainbow obsid and Osage burl. I don't have it all pinned yet, but I figured it was close enough to post. Here's a look at the colors in the blade before it was final shaped.

And what the overall piece will look like when it is put together. The base is santos mahogany.

Look at that color!! even the rock in the back is glowing. Awesome knife, and excellent work on handle.

I agree Fred. The mahogany is soft, but also has a very clean look. I think the 2 woods make this set stand out nicely!

Beautiful work...that osage will darken over time and add more patina to the overall look.

The knife is exceptional but you could look a long time to find that antler. Is that elk?
