I am going to make a hickory backed ERC English long bow about 45 to 50 pounds what do you guys think I should start with on dimensions?

You might have better luck posting this in the regular bows forum.

Howdy, I've made one bow with this combination. It's a pyramid, flat-limbed design, so not quite what you're looking for. None the less 72" long tip-tip. 1.5 inches wide out of the fades and 3/8 wide at the nocks. 40# @ 28". To get a higher crowned limb you'd need to start a little narrower.

Thanks for the reply that should help tremendously.
