I just sold a half dozen arrows to a guy in Sweden. When I was preparing the shipping label, the notice concerning shipping prohibitions to Sweden had "arms and weapons" right at the top of the list. Does anybody know if wood arrows would be considered "weapons" by Swedish customs?

This might help:http://www.buyusa.gov/sweden/en/regulations_standards.html#_section3 (http://www.buyusa.gov/sweden/en/regulations_standards.html#_section3)

You could try listing them as camping tools. That worked when I sent a package to Japan. Customs left it alone.

Just a thought, but it might be legal to send points and shafts separately.

I called Kustom King who sends arrows all over. I think I spoke to Gabby and she told me she just puts archery supplies on the customs form and they said they go through.

Tuff call. It all depends on the Custom agent working that day.

You could also list them as sporting goods, but that doesn't answer your original question, sorry.

I list them as arts and crafts. I just sent some to Sweden.

Hey I ship fishing flies overseas and if you put flies on the paper work customs have a habit of confiscating them if you put fish hooks down they leave it alone so craft supplies ,Archery supplies ect would be good idea

I ended up putting Archery Supplies and in the detailed section, "Fletched Shafts." I just check tracking, it said that the package cleared customs.
