It's finally warmed up a tad so I got in the pit for awhile. One out of an olive oil bottle, three out of some tough Texas stuff and an ugly knife, but real sharp from some Novaculite. I still need to wrap it with sinew.

Nice work Eddie. If that knife is too ugly for You, send it this way! Cheers- Brendan

Eddie those look real nice.
Wish it would warm up around here been below 0.

Nice, what's the knife glued with? Pine Pitch? I like those three points!
-
Good to see you back at it, too! I spent the day assembling cabinets....joy.
-
All very nice. You can tame that Texas rock real easy with a little heat. I will bringing some Texas rock home in March.
-
Nice to see ya back at it, and the weather is almost perfect sunny ,still, and clear just slightly cool this morning -4. Bob

Thanks everybody.
Brian, yea, it's pitch glue.
The rock was cooked at 500dgs all night. The brown shiney part was butter and the concrete was a pain.

Real nice, I like the olive oil greenie! Now, to find some green glass bottles! The knife looks good,

Nice to see you guys are getting some nice weather for knapping. It been real cold and windy here. Below zero and nasty wind. Not ready to sit around the pit. Supposed to get warmer for a couple days but all my knapping will be indoors for awhile yet.
