Congratulations to Scott D. from Liberty MO for Winning the Backed BOM!!

From Scott:
Here is a hickory backed hackberry that I made for the tradgang bow trade. The guy I drew prefers cut in shelves and shaped handles, so that's what I tried to make. I've been ready to send it off for a while now, but my guy has vanished. I'm also working on a HHB selfbow in case I end up with a new recipient that prefers more primitive bows without shelves.  This one is 67" ntn and around 50#@28".
The bow is 1 3/4" at the fades. I used leather dye for the dye job and it is finished with gloss and satin poly over Tru-oil.

Here's a sample of the great things forum members said about this bow:

"Dang Scott, Ya done REAL good on that bow bud. If that that other fella dont show, I'm sure who ever gets it will be proud as a peacock!!!" -Halfeye
"All I can say is WOW! It'd be like loosing a winning lottery ticket for that other fella!" -randman
"Very nice job on that bow!" -HoBow
"Scott, that is a beautiful bow my friend! I hope to be able to make one that nice someday. Great pics also." -Threeundr
"Really nice work.  Too bad the other guy can't be found.  He doesn't know what he's missing."  -Alpinbogen
