I saw my first mature buck this years whille hunting a blind between 2 hay fields.3 1/2 year old 8 point low 120's.Unusell to see him before prerut out in the fields at 8:33.He was on a doe the her spike from last year with her.My calls never even got a glance.4,5 YEAR OLD DOE'S come in heat early sometimes.30 YARDS TO FAR FOR MY SELFBOW AND DOGWOOD ARROWS.I was there to shoot a doe.You just never know.
