Title: Payback Feels Good
Post by: hillbilly61 on January 09, 2011, 09:35:17 pm
I had a chance to give a little payback for the nice things halfeye, stringstretcher and Bill Skinner  have done for me. I was able to give Matt ( my daughters boyfriend) some knappable rock (He's learning to knapp) that Bill gave me. A BBO bow that is tillered to his draw-29"- and a few cane arrows fletched with Charles' fletches. Halfeye was the insperation behind it all. I know I'll never use all the rock, shoot all the bows or arrows (well maybe the arrows ;D) So they might as well go to good use. Just thought I would share this with y'all ;)

Mark, good on ya! Bill is as generous with his time, materials, and knowledge as anyone I've ever met, and he wouldn't except any type of payment. I've wondered what I could do for him to repay him, but I think you figured it out. He sets the example to follow, and when we his students emulate his example, perhaps that is his reward.
