Man, I know a crab bow is supposed to bend in that one spot right off the handle, or is it my eyes playing tricks on me? How do you get it to bend there and not lower on the limb down towards the siyah, just slow and careful tillering? And of course, your bow is looking gorgeous. :)

Ah man. Not again. Not another horn bow tease from ya. I can't wait till im good enough to start trying them. And this isn't helping my itch too  :-\

That brace is crazy. It looks like the bows already maxed bent out on em. But we all know that's not true.

SWEEEEEEET  :)

North Indian?  I had no idea they had horn bows like this.  I would have guessed it was Korean.

Looks fantastic by the way, very clean and precise.

I think this has gone on long enough, it must be cruel and unreasonable to keep us all on tender hooks like this. Some times you see some one else's work and think; I want to be that good. Other times you just think I WANT THAT :o

I built 2 crab bows a long time ago. Untill you try one you can't even come cose to realizeing the amount of work that it takes to build one. Nothing like building a old selfbow.
LOOKS GOOD MY HATS OFF TO YOU.

Gathered the materials to make one of my own.  Well, probably won't stop at one.  Looking for a tip...   How thick is your core wood?  What is your core wood? How long was the core wood?  How long were your horn strips?

Thanks in advance for sharing!
