When is the shipping deadline?
-
When is the shipping deadline?
I was wondering the same thing.
Bjrogg
-
January 15 I think.
-
Thanks Pat, I'm hoping to get mine sent out before Christmas but something came up that could require a lot of my family's time in the near future. I'm sure I'll get something thrown together.
Bjrogg
-
Mine should be at it's new home today but you never know this tie of year. ::)
-
WOW Pat, thats a beautiful quiver, great knife too! - thanks. Can't do pictures - I have no camera, Thank you.
My wife was wondering what I bought now ! Had to show her how the trade works.
Thanks again. :OK
-
Glad it got there in good shape and hope you get many years of service out of it. Also, it's got a lifetime guarantee, for my lifetime, that is. ;D
The end plug will push into the quiver to remove for cleaning or replace the foam broadhead holder. It is a tapered fit.
Enjoy and Merry Christmas.
-
I was wondering who the lucky dog would be to get that quiver and knife. Turns out it wasn't a dog at all, it was a cat! Congrats man :OK
-
Very nice Wildcat, I kinda got my hopes up when Pat said it was going north. Congratulations
Bjrogg
-
Tom next time we get together I'll have to check it out.
-
I'll watch you real close Trapper, I know that Dodge has lots of hiding places.
-
It sure does Tom. I have a quiver from Pat also they are very nice.
-
got a very nice bow rack and some raw materials in the mail today from Colorado, but I didn't recognize the name on the return--There is a CD as well from SGT McConnell--Not sure who that is on here, but thank you very much.
-
Jeff it's Hawkdancer.
-
I received an awesome set of 6 arrows from Jeffp51. I shot a few out of an Ed Scott bow, and I think they'll be a great match to that bow. They even match colorwise. Thanks so much Jeff. The turkeys better be wary this coming spring.

Jeff,
The cd is original music that my wife Jac(k)ie wrote and performs the violin/fiddle parts, I wrote and preform the narratives except for one line. The other musical parts are done by various artists from around the world. Hopefully, an envelope with a small piece of elk hide will arrive, too. Should be big enough for a couple of handles. The wood is for whatever, knife scales, bow tips, etc.. We ran out of the original run of cd's, and dubbed some. The download card is our current group, and is also original music

-
Thank you to upstatenybowyer :BB for the very cool package I received. (-S
I'll post some pics after Christmas. (SH)
(If the lack of a description is tickling your curiosity, the clue is in the description.)
Thanks again upstate!
Merry Christmas everyone!
Kevin
-
You're very welcome. I still can't believe it got there before Christmas! :OK
-
My buddy Rob
You are a wonderful man. Merry Christmas Brother
Don
-
Looper, those arrows look good with that bow, and I am glad it made it in time for Christmas. They told me it would be there on the 26th.
Hawk, I received the elk skin, and I am sure I will have a use for it soon. The music was really neat, I am impressed by the talent, and I like the fiddle in it. I put a couple of coats of oil on the bow rack and mounted it to the Wall in my "toy room". It looks really nice with some bows hanging from it.
-
Got my bundle from UtahChippewa this afternoon. Figured out the atlatl, darts, cholla, and feathers pretty quick. The antler whatitis has frazzled my brain! Hope the pics attach!
Jeff,
Glad the bow rack went to work so quick!

-
Hawk looks like a top bearing block for a bow drill. Bob
-
Bob,
That would explain the roller bearing! Have to make a drill board and try it out
Hawkdancer
-
You nailed it Bob! Wear it around your neck and use the cord for the bow! Seems the hardest things to come up with are the bearing block and the cord
-
I got a package in the mail today from Buffalogobbler it was some great game calls there was a boxcall made of poplar & American Chestnut a agate call with a carved antler striker a chicken wing yelper & a deer call. Thanks Kevin there great I can't wait to try them out. I'll try to get somebody to post some pics for me.
-
I came home after a serious ruff day at work, in a bad mood, and there was a package for me in the garage. It's amazing how a thoughtful gift can really brighten a guy's day!
In the package was a beautiful customized rack and a whole bunch of really nice bamboo shafts...
Thank you very much Looper! )P(
-
I'm glad you like it. Be sure to take a pic of it once you get it mounted. The mounting holes are 32" on center, so you should be able to get a good solid attachment.
-
We only have 4 more days before the shipping time is here. January 15! Get on the stick, guys.
-
That is a cool bow rack, nice job guys.
-
Tracking says my recipient Santa's Sleigh should visit him today
Bjrogg
-
Ill shoot you text when I get home, BJ. Just to let you know it arrived safely :)
-
Thanks Pearl that will help me sleep better. Santa's sleigh is going to have snow here again. It's not very nice day here along the lake anyway. Pretty much a full blown blizzard here.
Bjrogg
-
Santa arrived safe and sound today bjrogg. Got the beautiful knife the bjrogg Knapped it is even nicer in person than the pictures show it. The work you put into this knife is like WOW. It is super sharp also. Thank you. I don't know if it will get any use at all it is more of a show piece. Thank you again.
-
Glad it made it there I one piece Bob. It is usable but it wouldn't pass the forged in fire edge retention test. It is mostly show as you say. I'm glad you like it.
Bjrogg
-
Oh by the way Bob no work involved. It's all therapy.
Bjrogg
-
Definitely a show piece. I did learn what the handle is made of. I had to Google it because I never heard of it before. It may not handle the edge retention test but I bet ( it will kill ) lol. I really appreciate it thank you.
-

Thank You HunterBob thank you!! Received the gift yesterday. Two bow staves, handmade turkey call, bow string jig, bow string, (gonna have to learn how to use it), some sinew, and some trade points Wow! Thanks again.
-
Your welcome . There is a great u tube video for flemish string making with a lady sitting behind a table that is the one that showed me the most . They are really easy to make. Hope you have use for everything.
-
I posted a list of who shipped & who received on the first page if I missed anybody leave me know.
-
I received mine before Christmas.
-
my gift also came before Christmas. Posted earlier about it.
-
Got mine -posted earlier about it. Still got to make the drill board and shaft, though!
Hawkdancer
-
Got mine! Thanks Robbie! It's an awesome forged campfire cook set. All the pieces I could dream of. It's awesome, thanks again! I'll try to get a picture.
-
Chris hope you & the wife will get some use out of everything this summer when you go camping. It's made out of mild steel if it starts to rust take some steel wool to it & wipe them down with cooking oil.
-
Im not sure the exact terminology, but I know how each piece is used. I have (2) uprights, (2) spits, (2) lid grabbers, (1) log adjuster and (1) big fork. I absolutely love it and cannot wait to try use it. I will certainly have it at Marshall with me this spring.
Thanks again my friend, you have a real talent for manipulating steel. No doubt about it!
-
How about some pics, guys.
-
Here is a pic of my kit. I'm going to make a poplar or pine box for it to all fit into nicely.
-
Nice. :OK I'm sure they will get lots of use. -C- (=)
-
Oh yah, the boys will eat good at Marshall. Id like to do a few whole fryers on it. Baste and season as I go. Mmmmmmm.
-
I volunteer to be a taste tester -C-
-
You sure a lucky man Pearly. I'd be using those babies everyday. )P(
-
Got home tonight and my wife told me my Christmas Present was here. I think she was a excited to see what it was as I was. My daughter and grandson both watched me open it to. Santa's return address was warpath Archery.
What was inside? Six meticulously made arrows and a nice big stick of pine pitch glue.
Thanks warpath I'll try get some pictures soon.
Bjrogg
-
My recipient should be getting his Saturday. Apologies for getting it out so late, time really got the better of me this year. To make up I threw a few extras in ;D
-
Glad you like them bjrogg!! Happy shooting!!! :) (SH) :NN :-D
G-Monee >:D
-
Thanks warpath they are very nice arrows. I shot them all and they fly fine. I almost Robin Hooded one, did hit it pretty good but didn't hurt it.
Bjrogg
-
Oooooo... those babies look sweet!
-
They are Jeff.

Sorry, I've been pretty absent from this thread. A few days ago I received a really
cool horn flute. The box was accidentally tossed so I actually have no idea who it is from.
So whoever it is, thank you! I'll post a pic later. I sent my box out last week to, so it should be arriving this week
-
I woke up this afternoon to let the dogs out and found a box by the door. It was from Trevor Massey. The box contained a wool pullover and hood with built in scarf/horn thing, some homemade bobbers, a bar of homemade soap, and a wood bopper that looks to me to be made from a lightly spalted oak burl. It took me a few moments to figure out the hood with the long appendage coming off the back. Once I figured out what it is, I’m gonna love it on my next cold weather outing.
Thanks for the gifts. I look forward to putting them to good use over the years.
Sorry about the lack of pictures. I’ll get them up when I get into town later where the signal will better allow me to upload pictures.
Thanks,
Kyle

Glad you liked it all Kyle! Hope it all fits alright, I made it to fit me as you looked to be roughly the same build. :OK
I received my gift on Saturday a really nice matching arm guard and quiver, and a sweet arrowhead pendant.
-
I received a box full of goodies from Wizard Goat. It had cherry bark backing strips, hand made soap, an awesome stone point, knife billets, and a piece of pipe stone.
-
I hope you can use all that stuff Clint. Those aren't horn strips either, that's whale baleen.
My friend said that steel is 80 or 90 years old, from an old mill machine. Hopefully goodfor knives
-
Hi Rayn,
I`m very, very glad that my bullhorn flute arrived after a very long time in Vancouver. I wonder what they did to my parcel!? )-w(
Hope you enjoy it and you will find some fine melodies in it.
Regards Uwe
