heres a 68 inch hickory backed ipe with some lams of beefwood on the belly . this one came in at 48lbs at 28 inches only the second elb that ive made and i think this ones a little better. beefwood limb tip overlays , widest part of this bow at the handle is one inch (whole things made from scraps). i took this one out to flight shoot today with my experiment it had a four shot average of 158 yrds ,hope yall enjoy

Looks good Ken. Did you do a round belly or flat. I'm really wanting to try a round belly ipe longbow, I know there are better performance options but they just seem so classy.

Nice. It's a bit hard to see the tiller, but it looks good.

Nate its slightly rounded if it had been more than scraps i might would have had enough wood to completely round. im going to glue up a cuple hic cherry ones and try on them.
thanks adam

I'm with Ohma, nice and classic looking long bow. The cast is pretty darned good for hunting weight arrows and broadheads. Sorry, I cant help but ask.....do we know any "gentleman"? ;D
