Been learning the primitive pottery. Thought I would share a pic of some. Anyone making any pots lets see them.

Thanks everyone, I have really enjoyed learning and making. These are all useable for cooking or storing food.

Nice work!  You can use the kiln for cooking rocks for knapping, too?

Those are very nice looking pots, that primitive look is really cool. Im assuming you pit fired them? I attempted that last week trying to fire a atlatl weight, but it was non existant when I went to pull it out after a couple days.

Bone pile, looks like a lot of fun there. Also looks like some drawings or designs on the sides of a few of them. Losing one pot isn't too bad. Thanks for posting a pic

They used to throw a bone in the kiln for a good red color, raku  I think >:D

would you make a picture of the intruments you used to print the pattern on the pots?
I've made a wooden mold to tap on the clay but I havent used yet
