Hey Guys! I just finished up my last bow for a little while, work is picking up and I dont like making bows as much when its hot! Anyway, its 62"NTN 45#@27" Osage backed with a couple water mocassin skins I got a while back. This stave was paticularly thick ringed with decent early/late ratio...I used steam on the handle to line the tips and dry heat on the limbs for reflex and to untwist a little. She was a challenge to tiller with all the charecter dips and dives and I ended up missing my target weight a bit, but she is a SWEET SWEET shooter!!! :o Virtually no handshock. I put a FF string on after finishing. Only my second time trying that but it seems to lessen handshock and add a bit of cast. Overall Im really happy with the way it turned out. Here she is. Start to finish almost...(I forgot to take pics of the skinning) :) ;D :) Hope you enjoy!!!

Very nice work, I like the pictures of the progression of your bow. Job well done.

Very nice job! I kinda shirked when I seen those braced pics on the tree, it looked like a horrible hinge! But then When I seen that full draw, I was satisfied that you had done well with that piece of wood!
I like it.

Like Timo, I cringed when I saw the braced picture that looked as though it had a huge hinge: but, the full draw picture showed it to be a skillfully tillered bow. Great bowyery on a challenging piece of wood. Beautiful bow. Bet it packs a walllop!!

Love it!! Fantastic job Will. It's sad that we won't see anymore from in a while. :( Sounds like you need an air conditioned shop! :) I could use one too.

Great bow and great record of building it! Glad to see I wasn't alone in "seeing a hinge" there too hehehe. Also very glad it's just as a result of the angle of the shot :)
Very tasty bow!!
